Employment Pass Singapore

What is it?

Applicants must earn a minimum qualifying salary of SGD $5,600 per month, possess recognised qualifications and/or relevant professional experience, and satisfy the COMPASS framework requirements, where applicable. The qualifying salary may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s age, sector, and overall COMPASS assessment.

*From 1 January 2027, the minimum qualifying salary for new Employment Pass applications will increase to SGD $6,000 per month. The revised salary requirement will apply to Employment Pass renewals from 1 January 2028.
